We catch Blue Catfish, Flatheads and Channel Catfish typically between 15-40lbs. Catfish exceeding 50lbs are very possible.

    What would a charter be without a boat? We’ll be on a 26′ catfish boat, fully outfitted with the latest technology. No fish cleaning provided.

    Included in the cost of your trip.

  • Safety Equipment

    I practice safe boating at all times. I’ll show you the boats safety features and life jackets upon arrival.

  • Fresh Bait

    I use live and fresh cut bait that I catch from a casting net the morning of the trip. 

  • Rods & Tackle

    I have high quality casting rods and all the tackle we will need.

  • Cooler with Ice

    For Drinks or Food.

    Bring your own food and drinks and store in the provided cooler with ice.

    I recommend you bring a light rain jacket, just in case.

About the Captain

You could say I started early, because I’ve been fishing the Mississippi River since I was 5 years old. 

See the little kid in the picture? That’s me.

Check out my shoe… I had to remove my shoe lace to string up my catch of the day.

I love fishing, and want to show you the beauty of the Mississippi. And catching catfish is just plain fun.

I have a USCG 50 ton Masters license and have owned boats on the this river for over 30 years. 

You will have a great trip and I will supply all of the equipment necessary. Plus, I only use quality tackle. That is key. 

The Mighty Mississippi is an active river. It is always changing, which is challenging for beginners. I average over 100 days fishing per year, so I know my river well.

I have been with the Memphis Fire Department for 18 years. Working 10 days per month allows me to pursue my passion for fishing.
